Design
Waves has a design team located in Manchester UK, Hong Kong and Bangkok Thailand. Through this service we can offer a complete package of fully designed, developed and manufactured collections or give European and Asian design direction, market briefs and trend boards to add value to our brands & retailers business. Our design team regularly travel to trade fairs, Fabric exhibitions, fashion shows and of course comp shopping in opinion leading cities like Tokyo,New York and London in order to capture the latest market trends , fabrics, trims and most importantly the current retail environment. Our aim is to stay in touch with each of our customers brand strategies, target consumers and seasonal directions in order to offer a proactive and valuable service.
Development
Waves can tailor its development capability to the needs of each individual brand or retailer, throughout our Global sourcing offices we have dedicated customer and merchandising teams who can offer
- Seasonal research on trends, materials, technologies and new executions in the Apparel industry
- Develop prototypes through to Pre production samples which incorporate the customers policies on Product execution, Price and Delivery
- Plan, control & constantly communicate the follow up and tracking of each individual customers order with a "critical path" until it is on its way to you

Production
Waves has built over the last 16 years a reputable and diverse vendor base throughout its manufacturing countries and regions. We have seen our manufacturing partners grow and this has brought great trust, flexibility and competitiveness that we can offer our customers. We can offer high volume production capacity through to low volume added value production capacity with a diverse product range from Denim to Technical Ski Wear. As the demands of the market place grow, we too grow in our quest to have a vendor base which supports our retailers and brands and carries with it competitive pricing, quality and on time delivered products. Our local sourcing offices and dedicated staff fully control all stages of the development and production process.
Global Logistics
To ensure the smooth and on-time delivery Waves has established partnerships with local and international freight forwarders. We pride ourselves on being able to handle the shipping requirements for all our brands and retailers globally to all shipping destinations. We are constantly striving to find the most cost and time efficient route for our customers , and in doing so we can offer services ranging from Ex Works through to Delivery Duty Paid. All of this helps us in our mission to deliver garments on time to customers anywhere in the world.
QC & Tech services
Waves have dedicated QC teams throughout all our sourcing countries and regions. We are constantly monitoring our vendor base throughout development and bulk production in order to develop, monitor and exceed the quality levels set out by our brands and retailers whilst also offering technical in line support to improve product quality. We also offer QC/Technical support services to brands who require a presence in multiple manufacturing regions but cannot logistically or cost effectively manage. We have recently been appointed the nominated QC and tech service partner for high level fashion brand Adidas Y-3 . Waves are also a member of Sedex and constantly works with our vendor base and customers in order to meet specific internal compliancy policies.
